| Price (credit pricing) | PCAT is a prepaid, usage-based service. One test attempt normally consumes one credit. It is not a subscription.

| Costs other than the price | Internet access charges, communication fees, and the cost of a compatible device, microphone and any other equipment required to use the Service are borne by the customer. There are no other fees or charges levied by ELT Education Inc. | ||||||||||||
| Payment method and timing | Credit card, processed through Stripe Checkout. Card details are entered on a payment page hosted by Stripe and are not received or stored by ELT Education Inc. Payment timing: on completion of the credit purchase (when the Stripe payment succeeds). The date the charge appears on your statement is determined by your card issuer. | ||||||||||||
| Time of service delivery | Credits are added to your account once Stripe confirms the payment, normally available for use immediately after checkout completes. You may take PCAT using any available credit. An interrupted test can be resumed within 24 hours of the interruption, and resuming does not consume an additional credit. | ||||||||||||
| Cancellation, returns and refunds | The following reflects the intended operating policy. Final terms are to be determined by ELT Education Inc. PCAT is a digital service (an English proficiency assessment) delivered online. The cooling-off rules that apply to door-to-door sales do not apply to mail-order sales of this kind. After a test has started: cancellation, refunds and the return of consumed credits for reasons attributable to the customer are, as a rule, not available. If the environment check fails before the test starts: if you could not start the test because the required environment check did not pass, and a credit was consumed for that attempt, the credit is returned to your account. This is handled by reissuing the credit rather than by a cash or card refund. Cancellation of purchased but unused credits: cancellation and refunds after purchase are, as a rule, not available. If you could not take the test because of a failure on our side: where a test could not be properly started or completed for reasons attributable to ELT, we will investigate and return the credit consumed for that attempt to your account. This is handled by reissuing the credit rather than by a refund. If a score is invalidated for misconduct: the credit is not returned or reissued. Where applicable law grants a right of cancellation, termination or refund, that law prevails. | ||||||||||||
